A couple weeks ago, I started classes at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. It’s been pretty good so far.
A week and a half ago, I got laid off from my job (as were a few other employees). You might think I’d be pretty upset about that, but I’m not. I’m glad I have more free time now to focus on my homework and on other things I want to do (maybe I’ll start updating my webcomic again). I’m also fortunate to be receiving a large amount of financial aid, so I don’t have to worry about how to pay for college this year. I may look for a part-time job later, or do some freelance work; but for now, I’m happy where I’m at.
